Where the people actually are, how they were acquired, and which parts of the audience are real rather than purchased.
871 contactable people, 97% Indonesian, two thirds in Jakarta — larger than the Instagram following and in exactly the city the 2027 show needs.
Three problems: signups stopped on 23 April 2026, nine days before the show, so nothing was captured from the 350 people in the room. The list has been dormant since May. And it was being contacted by paid Instagram DMs through Laylo — never by email, despite 870 of the 871 records holding an email address.
The list was never too expensive to contact. The wrong channel was used.
| City | Contacts | Share |
|---|---|---|
| Jakarta | 571 | 65.6% |
| Depok | 36 | 4.1% |
| South Tangerang | 30 | 3.4% |
| Bekasi | 26 | 3.0% |
| Bandung | 22 | 2.5% |
| Surabaya | 17 | 2.0% |
Jakarta plus its metro ring is roughly 77%. This is not a vague overseas audience — it is a single-city audience.
The account went 62 followers in September 2025 to 3,109 a year later. All of that growth maps onto £136 of Promote spend. Organic follower growth is negative — −18 in March, −14 in June, −20 in July, −15 in August.
The engagement was bought too: on the best-performing videos, 96–99% of the likes were delivered by the promotion itself. Promoted videos engage at 5.71%; unpromoted at 0.77%.
Roughly one viewer in four comes back, and the recent trend is slightly better. People do return — they just do not follow, and they do not finish the videos. That is a narrower and far more tractable problem than an audience that does not care.
